My experience so far has been nothing short of brilliant, and I really could not have wished for more. Every day I work with people who inspire me and want to see me succeed.
I like being onsite with others because I learn a lot, and I also enjoy teamwork. The people I work with are always willing to answer any questions. I was given a piece of great advice when I joined; I was told, “The only silly question is one that has not been asked”.
The site managers I work with trust me and give me tasks they know I can complete to a high standard. As my Apprenticeship progresses, the more responsibility I am given, which is excellent.
It is essential to know that as an Apprentice, you are not expected to be perfect from day one; BAM is looking for a person they can develop, not the finished article. However, if you are passionate about learning and want to do well, you will succeed.
