Each year BAM International provides a minimum of two fresh graduates with a BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying the opportunity to enrol in our Traineeship Commercial Programme (T-comm programme).

You will start this two-year programme by working in the BAM International head office in the Netherlands for three months. The objective is to familiarise the junior quantity surveyor with the organisation, procedures and systems. This means you will work in several departments during these first three months, while assisting the Commercial Department. After this period your will be assigned to your first project abroad to develop your experience, skills and personal competencies. You will work on a variety of commercial topics like contract reviews, claims, risks, reporting, liabilities and insurances.

During your traineeship you will be asked to complete the T-Comm checklist including knowledge and competence goals. BAM International will sponsor your RICS accreditation as this traineeship is suitable to achieve this status as well. A mentor  will help you to make a development plan to achieve these goals. You will meet your mentor on a regular basis, using video conference or Skype.

Do you fit the profile?

We welcome ambitious BSc or MSc Quantity Surveying graduates with a maximum of two years of working experience. You are interested in international construction and eager to work and live outside of your home country. English language fluency (oral and written) is required.

BAM International provides you flight tickets, visa, accommodation and transport.

Due to a limited amount of positions per year in the Commercial Traineeship, we only accept applications when the position is vacant and we are able to hire one or more trainees. The vacancy will then be published on our website www.bamcareers.com, so please visit the page regularly.
