Members of the Antarctic Construction Partnership (consisting of BAM International, BAM Nuttal, BAS/NERC and Ramboll) took part in a 160-kilometre charity cycle ride from the BAS office in Cambridge in the United Kingdom via Harwich and Hoek of Holland to the BAM International head office in the Hague in the Netherlands. They raised more than €3,000 for OWL Bikes, part of Papworth Trust, which recycles and refurbishes unwanted or donated bikes and sells them in order to raise money for disabled people.
