Our company has been involved in the Americas since the early seventies. Marine infrastructure projects were executed in the Caribbean, Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Venezuela as well as large infrastructure projects in the USA.
At present our focus in the Americas is on Latin America and the Caribbean.
Throughout our history in the area, we have brought core marine capabilities with projects such as the Costa Norte LNG jetty in Colón, Panama, the Mega Cruise Pier II in Curacao, the APM Container Terminal in Moín, Costa Rica and the New Carquinez Bridge in San Francisco.
BAM International’s regional office for the Americas is located in Panama City, Panama. A key location due to its connectivity with the rest of Latin America and affinity with our business.
Alongside the delivery of our projects, we have embraced corporate social responsibility initiatives to enhance health, safety and education for the local population. In the Americas, the main activities carried out include supporting local community schools by upgrading their facilities, sponsoring young local athletes, and activities to safeguard local flora and fauna such as turtle protection.
