Bridges / Structures
BAM Ireland has constructed many and various types of bridges for civil engineering projects. The types of bridges we have construed include: Motorway, Primary Routes, local access, Cable Stayed, Cantilever and Extrados.
An example of our work on N25 New Ross bypass PPP scheme involves 29 structures including an Extrados type bridge across the River Barrow. This Extrados Bridge will be 900m long, have 8 piers and 3 towers. This will be the longest bridge in Ireland and the longest bridge of this type in the world.
